Sam, way more skilled
Sam would beat him.
Sam beat Hawk in Season 3 Episode 5.
Sam already beat him and Rickenburger at the same time with negligible difficulty she evaded his upper body strikes and kicked him back when he left an opening and he didn't try to re-engage her knowing he would lose she is substantially better than him.
Agreed. But Rickenberger wasn’t fighting her too hurt her so he didn’t really count other than the fact that she wasted time hitting him. But yeah, overall I think Hawk would smarten up and fight better but I still think Sam would win, just with more difficulty than at the arcade in a full on fight till one drops.
She wins fairly easily in the arcade fight you see she evaded all his upper body attacks ("best block no be there" - Miyagi). She knows in a direct contest of strength she'd lose to Hawk so she would just give way and counter with lower body as she did in the arcade and after a few well placed kicks to the head and midsection Hawk would go down or back off.
She very easily outmanuverded him her balence based style is her best friend in this case.
In the arcade fight I think Sam easily took him out but in a real fight, he would smarten up and use his strength advantage, I will say Sam would still kick his butt just with more difficulty than the arcade fight if it was all out until one drops.
In a tug of war, bench pressing contest, or arm wrestle Hawk would easily win but the problem for him is that he can't leverage his strength at all against Sam she just gives way before his attacks and he is proven vulnerable to her counters. In a serious 1v1 it would take more time to wear him down as he isn't a glass canon but after a short while he would have to forfeit the contest. I see the fight with Sam and Hawk going similar to the fight between Sam and Tori in Season 2 particularly right before Tori pulls out the spiked nuckles. He may land some hits but for each one he would land he would take 3 or 4 kicks and punches and go down.
That’s what I mean, Sam is definitely winning but Hawk would put up a decent fight. Sam’s durability advantage makes up for Hawk’s strength advantage so it really comes out to how many hits you land and Sam’s superior skill, intelligence, and reflexes should give Sam the win. I say Sam takes the win mid-difficulty.
