I think it is possible the Cobras were planning on ambushing the Miyagi-Do’s at the laser tag fight. Think about it, Hawk is a very smart person: he planned a zoo heist, won a coding competition, and was a nerd who are by definition intelligent. He knew that if he messed with Chris he would require backup. He knew that going into the closed laser tag place they wouldn’t be caught and the miyagi’s wouldn’t have anyway of escape. By then he acts like he doesn’t know what they are doing there. Tory and 2 others show up but how? There are 5 miyagi’s and 4 cobras, that means every cobra has to fight someone and it’s likely someone had to fight 2. How are they supposed to text Tory and have her show up with two friends. She showed up fast indicating that she and her friends were nearby waiting. You may be thinking: “How did she know Sam was there?” she said “LaRusso! Where are you b****!” But I’ve already established that Hawk is very smart and he knew Sam would come looking for them. If Tory has been there when Sam showed up, Sam and the miyagi’s would have ran due to Sam being scared and they were all counting on Sam. Chris even says “Sam!” after being jumped by Rickenberger and Mitch. Demetri says help me and is likely looking for Sam. Demetri likely was wishing Sam would save him from hawk again. Overall the evidence leads to this conclusion and it does makes sense.

Johnny was the problem in all of this, Daniel did have certain issues but when you think about it Johnny is sexist, racist(given he called Miguel an illegal), a bad father, mean to others, and more. Johnny’s faults simply make people feel sorry for him(like Johnny being a bad dad to Robby) or are funny like his ignorance to basic science. Daniel shortcomings are simply annoying like his arrogance. Also emotions have a big part in all of this; people loved Daniel in the karate kid and now that in cobra Kai they love Johnny.

My favorites are Robby and Daniel.
Robby would destroy him, hawk only faced easier opponents this season so he looks way stronger, he is smarter but not too much improved. Robby would kill him.
Robby is powerful but Chozen was stronger and more bloodthirsty.
Sato alone could probably take the all out, he was clearly around Miyagi level because Miyagi wrote a will indicating he thought it’s possible he could lose.
Aisha can’t even take on S1 Miguel, Tory would destroy her.
Daniel and Johnny can beat up multiple trained opponents each, they can take two hockey players.
No, Daniel beat him very fast. Also Johnny surprise attacked Kreese while Daniel was really just blocking and dodging. Finally Daniel only looked more beat up due to being thrown through a glass window.
Oh, yeah I forgot about that.
I suppose from what we’ve seen Johnny has better moves but I don’t think we’ve seen Daniel’s full potential because he usually holds back in order to prevent real damage. Like his sensei, Daniel shows restraint.
Also Daniel learned much faster: he had about a month and a half of training and he won the all valley despite facing much stronger opponents.
He seems like a better fit for cobra Kai and his skill level will improve massively but at Miyagi-Do he was at his best. I’d say cobra Kai with Johnny is Robby’s best and Miyagi-Do with Daniel and Johnny is Miguel’s best.
Daniel would more likely win if you look at their two fights. Daniel kicked the door in so that hit in Johnny didn’t count, Johnny kicked Daniel out of nowhere when Daniel wasn’t paying attention so that doesn’t count, Daniel, wanting to get to his daughter, easily got inside after blocking Johnny’s strikes and kicked Johnny in the face. Then Daniel turned his back and Johnny kicked him so that doesn’t count. Overall Daniel won that, on fight two the fight was almost perfectly even but Daniel arm locked Johnny at one point and let him go rather than pulling quickly and snapping his arm. Finally, when Daniel learned his paralysis moves and maybe other things if that’s what Chozen taught him, he can overpower Johnny but Johnny would certainly put up a good fight.
I’m guessing Tory’s mom will die and Tory will be seen crying. Maybe Robby will try and comfort her and then they’ll get together.
Sam only cried twice if memory serves. Johnny has cried quite a bit but he doesn’t cry in big sobs.
