The Karate Kid[]
Johnny forces Daniel to sign[]
Johnny Lawrence confronts Daniel LaRusso at school with a permission form for his mother to sign, warning Daniel that "they gotta know where to send your body after I get finished with it." After Daniel questions Johnny further such as telling him that the tournament is supposed to be no contact, Johnny begins to pin Daniel into the wall, threatening him to rip his teeth out and forget the promise he told him. Johnny Lawrence then walks off, kicking a nearby locker.
Cafeteria Fight[]
In a continuation of a scene shown in the film, after getting lunch, Daniel and Ali go to the cafeteria. They then encounter Johnny Lawrence, who has just finished eating a pie for lunch. When Daniel begins to sit with Ali and the rest of her friends, Johnny sneaks a blueberry pie before Daniel sits next to Ali, which results Daniel being embarrassed by everyone. Johnny then mocks Daniel to watch where he should sit next time, but Daniel puts the pie's remains on Johnny's long sleeved shirt. Angered, Daniel pushes Johnny into the floor and a fight ensues, which is broken off by students.
Daniel defeats a Cobra Kai student[]
In an extended scene not shown in the actual film, Daniel faces off against a Cobra Kai student named Eddie. Daniel is at first punched, but he is able to dodge off his attacker and kicks him to the ground, winning the fight.
Daniel is carried off[]
In another extended scene not shown in the movie, Mr. Miyagi and All Valley officials tend to Daniel's injured leg after he is put out of commission by Bobby Brown. Medical officials carry the injured Daniel as the crowd applaud. Meanwhile, Bobby Brown questions the referee only for him to tell Bobby about his disqualification due to illegally kicking Daniel's knee. Bobby then approaches Kreese, and begins throwing his belt in anger as he walks away.
Cobra Kai[]
Season 1[]
Karate's a Joke[]
Johnny Lawrence is putting flyers on a strip mall for potential recruits but stumbles himself near a Jiu-Jitsu dojo. Two jiu jitsu students show up and Johnny tells the three of them to learn "all American" karate instead of jiu jitsu, believing it to be "Brazilian garbage". When one of the students questions if karate actually originates from Asia, Johnny tells them that Jiu-jitsu and taekwondo are "cheap knockoffs of karate". The students then go to their class when Todd, the jiu jitsu master, shows up with other two members to confront Johnny. Todd questions Johnny if he's attempting to poach his students, but Johnny says that the jiu jitsu students should learn a real martial art (karate) rather than rolling around the mat. However, the teacher tells Johnny that karate is a joke and is for little kids before comparing him to a nanny. Johnny rudely tells Todd and the others to "go live in Brazil" since he believes that Brazil sucks. One of the members tells Johnny to not be rude to Master Todd only for Johnny to point out he does not have his students call him "master" (referring to the African American jiu-jitsu student in question calling Todd the title). This results a near confrontation between Johnny and Todd, but the fight is broken off when a police car shows up. Before leaving, Johnny tells them that he's still on probation before Todd mockingly tells him to run away since "karate is a thing of the past and BJJ is here to stay." The student addresses Todd as master when encouraging him, but Todd (after thinking on what Johnny said) tells him that addressing his by just his name without "master" is fine. (Esqueleto)
Karate Legend[]
At the 50th All Valley Karate Tournament, the staff remark on the tournament's new blue mats and great turnout of fans showing up. The LaRusso's show up at the tournament, with Daniel suggesting they watch a few matches before they leave. Daniel is then welcomed by the All Valley staff and All Valley dojos since he is the former All Valley champion, and he begins to shake his hands with them. Daniel then admires his championship poster. Anthony then tells his father, believing it to be cool about him being a karate legend, but Daniel says that he doesn't know if he's considered a legend before thanking Anthony. Anthony tells his father that he loves him in which Daniel says the same before they exchange a hug. Before the tournament, Anthony asks Daniel if he could buy the new Xbox console since it has Gears of War. As Daniel walks off, Anthony tries to ask his father if he's considering it. (Mercy)
Copy That[]
A drunk Johnny Lawrence goes to a copy shop to return his flyers to advertise Cobra Kai, after Carmen had forbade Miguel from learning karate. When the clerk asks Johnny if he wants to recycle the flyers, Johnny says it's "climate change bullshit." The clerk asks Johnny to stop drinking. Johnny attempts to return his flyers, but he is unsuccessful. Johnny leaves the store and yells, "Staples sucks!" (Cobra Kai Never Dies)
Season 2[]
Jimmy's Car[]
The OG Cobra Kais leave the hospital. They were originally going to use Jimmy's car for the road trip with Tommy, but Johnny, Tommy and Bobby make fun of the vehicle. Jimmy defends his choice of owning a Mitsubishi Mirage by informing the gang that it's the safest car in its class. Tommy immediately jokes that that makes it "a wagon for pussies", instead of a "pussywagon". When Jimmy asks Bobby whether it's a sin to make fun of a man's car, Bobby jokingly tells him that even God hates Jimmy's car model. Jimmy asks them if they have a better plan, to which Johnny says "I got an idea", showing the use of motorcycles for the trip was his suggestion. (Take A Right)
Anoush[]
Daniel tries to calm Anoush down after Johnny attacks him in the dealership to know Robby's whereabouts. Anoush states that he had made it 40 years without being in a fight. Daniel receives a phone call about the fight at the mall, and has to leave, but Anoush, worried about Johnny returning to attack him again, begs him not to. Anoush said that this would never happen at a CarMax. (All In)
Kreese and Stingray[]
After the Cobra Kai students scatter in Coyote Creek to begin Kreese's test, Stingray tells the sensei he wants to try a tactic he saw in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but Kreese, disgusted by his naivete about war, shushes him and says he'll do better going into hiding to protect himself. This shows that Stingray, not getting the sarcasm, hiding to win was actually not his idea, despite him relating the act of hiding to his Animal Motif. Kreese, a Shell-Shocked Veteran, is disgusted by Stingray comparing actual war to a video game. Kreese was trying to get Stingray to get lost, but the guy instead interpreted it as advice for his new Animal Motif. (Lull)
Season 3[]
Back to Normal[]
At breakfast, Daniel is worried about where Robby is ever since he went on the run. When Amanda said that runaways usually come back, Anthony chimed in and said that they could also get caught doing something illegal and found dead. Daniel said that Johnny hasn't answered any of his calls, as he is unaware of Johnny throwing his phone away. Sam comes downstairs, ready to return to school. Anthony says that if he got suspended for starting a karate war, his parents wouldn't be this nice to him. Amanda told Anthony to finish eating his breakfast. (Aftermath)

Sam sweeps Demetri's leg surprising the three other Miyagi-Do students. Sam tells Demetri that after the car wash Cobra Kai thinks that they can stomp all over them, and that they're going to prove them wrong. She told them to stop messing around because summer is over. (The Right Path)

Until Next Time[]

Daniel muses how he came to Okinawa looking for his sensei, but he had found Kumiko. Daniel and Kumiko share a dance and he thanks her for help. Kumiko says, "Until next time." They bow to each other, and hug. (Miyagi-Do)
Focus[]
During a training session, Kreese teaches Robby a lesson about focus. While using kick pads, Robby takes a strong kick from Kreese that knocks him back a few steps. He compliments his sensei and lowers the pads, after which Kreese kicks him in the stomach, advising him to never let down his guard to prevent his enemy from exploiting his weakness. This evokes Miguel's training with the pitching machine in season 1, when Johnny gives Miguel the same advice after hitting his ear with another ball from the machine when the session ends and he lets down his guard. Kreese referring to Daniel's finishing move in the All-Valley as "that Crane Crap" evokes Silver saying those exact same words when training Daniel himself in the third film. Kreese claims that the only reason Johnny lost to Daniel in the All-Valley was because he was distracted by his feelings for Ali. (December 19)

Anthony said he wanted to, but he never felt that it was the right time since he feels remorse for what he did to him. Amanda said she was glad to hear it, and she thinks that Kenny might want to hear an apology.
It Takes A Village[]
After Amanda and Daniel speak to Vanessa, Amanda admits that Vanessa's right about the toys and the screens they gifted Anthony being a problem. They head into the kitchen, where Lucille is. Lucille says that she knows what it's like and sits the couple down for a talk. She recalls it all started before they moved from New Jersey and a little bit after, mentioning Daniel's "brother". Lucille reminisces that when Daniel got into trouble as a young child, she would ask who did it and Daniel would say "Not me," so Lucille would joke that Daniel had a brother named "Notme." Lucille explains that it takes a village for things to get better, in her case, an Okinawan one. She admits that Mr. Miyagi had helped, as he made Daniel feel loved since he was like a father to him. (Party Time)
Nachos[]

Carmen is heading out to go to her job at the hospital and sees Johnny and asks him if she can train with him. Johnny said he'd love take up on that offer, but there's no fooling around before a fight because women weaken legs. Carmen asked who he was fighting, and Johnny said that he would be fighting Daniel at sundown. Carmen left, and told him to have fun tonight with his fight. As she left, Johnny went inside his apartment. (Match Point)
You Did Good Mike[]
Mitch is seen fighting in the qualifying matches and loses to his opponent. He heads back to Johnny, and apologizes for losing. Johnny told him to not feel bad, as still have enough points to qualify. Johnny tells him he's good, and accidentally refers to him as "Mike." Mitch corrects him and tells him it's Mitch. It is exactly similar to the final cut, but Sam is able to block Tory's right foot, knocking her to the ground and punching her, which forced the bribed referee to give Sam the victory since Tory was knocked down to the ground. The combined Miyagi-Fang teammates then flood the mat and congratulate Sam for her victory as Daryl, the announcer, announces Sam as the first female All Valley champion. Tory, having lost the fight, is shown getting back up and leaving defeated. (The Rise)
Season 5[]
Trivia[]
- The deleted scene "Face Off" has two references to notable blockbuster movies.
- When Sam, Demetri, Frank and Abe encounter Hawk and his friends after getting sent to the principal's office, Demetri tells Sam that there's nothing they can do since "it's Chinatown". This is a reference to the ending scene of the 1974 film Chinatown, where Jake's assistant tells him "Forget it Jake. It's Chinatown" right after Noah Cross kidnaps Evelyn and drives away.
- Right after that, Demetri tells Frank and Abe, who were confused by the reference, to watch a movie that doesn't have the words "fast" or "furious". This is a reference to Fast and Furious, a franchise by Universal Studios that focuses on action films involving street racing, heists, spies, and family and has starred Vin Diesel and Paul Walker until the latter's death in 2013.
- Several scenes in Season 4 featuring Robby and Tory were cut for unknown reasons.
- Julia Macchio, who portrays Vanessa LaRusso, revealed in an interview with CKN (Cobra Kai Nation) that there was a scene with Johnny and Lucille that didn't make the final cut of the episode.[3]
- Christopher Ryan Lewis and Shane Donovan Lewis, who portrays Big Red and Little Red, revealed in an interview with CKK (Cobra Kai Kompanion) that there was a scene with Big Red and Little Red fighting during the Fight at West Valley High School that didn't make the final cut of the episode, No Mercy.[4]
- An extra from the set of the All Valley Tournament revealed that Robby and Tory shared a hug scene that ended up getting cut.
- A Season 4 alternate ending with Sam defeating Tory at the All Valley was shown at a Cobra Kai: Live & Badass event at the Microsoft Theater, prior to the Season 5 trailer. That ending wasn't originally planned for the season, but it was more of an extra for the audience so they won't be spoiled by the real ending during the show's premiere. If this would've happened, Miguel would still go to Mexico and Silver would still frame Kreese, usurping the dojo and wanting to continue teaching Cobra Kai, not honoring the bet that the loser leaves town.
- In an interview with CKK (Cobra Kai Kid), Dallas Dupree Young revealed a deleted scene involving Kenny and his mom. The scene got cut because it didn't apply to Kenny's story. Young added that the first name of the actress who portrayed Kenny's mom is Michelle (Hurd), but he forgot her surname.[5]
