The Fight at the LaRusso House was a cataclysmic fight that involved three warring karate dojos - Cobra Kai, Miyagi-Do, and Eagle Fang. It began when the Cobra Kai's arrived at the LaRusso house fight looking for a fight. The ramifications of the fight were immense and long-lasting, serving as the catalyst for many other events. It ocurred in the Season 3 finale.
Brief Background
While Samantha's parents are out for dinner with Johnny and Ali, Miyagi-Do is spending time together when Eagle Fang comes over. As they were about to confront each other, Sam diffuses the situation by telling them that they need to start working together despite their differences.[1]
House Fight
Samantha LaRusso and Miguel Diaz work together to unite the students from Eagle Fang Karate and Miyagi-Do Karate, hoping to put aside their differences as they have a common enemy - Cobra Kai. Over the week of Christmas, they convince the two work together by "parent trapping" their respective dojos at the LaRusso family home. When Mitch and Bert attempt to leave, Demetri convinces them to stay with a speech - they need to work together to stand up to Cobra Kai. Their efforts at peace are derailed by a surprise attack from the Cobra Kai dojo, led by Tory and Kyler, after throwing Bert through the window of the LaRusso house after being tricked into thinking the LaRusso family cat is outside. Hawk, Kyler, Mikey, Paul and an Cobra Kai unnamed student were the first to arrive, with Miguel recognizing Kyler since their previous encounters at school. Kyler told Miguel that it was payback due to his previous losses to him. Tory was the second to arrive, being accompanied by Doug Rickenberger and an unnamed Cobra Kai student. Tory was told by John Kreese that Sam and Miguel are working together to combine their dojos. Tory and the other Cobra Kais found out when and where the meeting takes place and decides to crash it. When Miguel tells his ex-girlfriend that she and the rest wouldn't have to do this, Tory refuses and says its too late and that their feud ends now before shouting "NO MERCY!!", ordering the Cobra Kai's to attack.
The Cobra Kai's then attack, resulting in a fight. Miguel first pins Mikey to the table, but then faces Kyler. Mitch would fight Mikey, Chris and Rickenberger would exchange blows, Nathaniel, Demetri, and Bert fighting two Cobra Kai students until Nathaniel and Bert were thrown into a Christmas tree, Tory fighting a Miyagi-Do Student, Sam fighting Paul, and Hawk fighting Stiven.
After defeating their opponents, Sam and Tory would face each other with Sam initially attempts to run away from as she still hasn't recovered emotionally from their last encounters. She then helps Doug defeat Chris. On the other end, Mitch fights against Mikey and maintains the upper-hand.
Tory has her eyes set on Sam, having just learned that she and Miguel are working together. Sam ran from the fight and attempted to hide in her father's dojo. Tory chases her and instantly attacks. Sam, who still hasn't recovered emotionally from their last encounter, can't defend herself. Tory pummels Sam and begins to attack her with nunchaku she took off the wall, breaking a picture of Mr. Miyagi. Sam remembers what her father said — only she can help herself when she's down. She regains her strength and disarms Tory with a bo staff.
After defeating his opponent and Kyler hyping him up, Hawk sees his former friends Miguel and Mitch being repeatedly hit, and begins to suffer a crisis of conscience. He remembers all the statements from Miguel and Johnny and finally comes to terms about how Cobra Kai turned him into a ruthless individual. Rickenberger and another Cobra Kai force Demetri into an arm lock, similar to the one that broke his arm a few months prior. The Cobra Kai's offer Hawk a free shot at Demetri but Hawk makes his choice in that moment and kicks the other Cobra Kai and then throws Rickenberger onto a glass table, switching sides in the process. He apologizes to Demetri for his past bullying and Demetri, although reluctant, still accepts and together, they defeat several Cobra Kai's (Mikey, Paul and an unnamed student). Rickenberger recovered and went to exchange blows with Mitch.
Kyler and Miguel continue to fight. Kyler has the upper-hand for most of the fight as Miguel is still recovering from the high school fight. Miguel eventually gains the upper-hand on Kyler and knocks the student unconscious, thanking him for the newfound motivation. Hawk's defection proves to be the turning point in the fight, as the Miyagi-Do's and Eagle Fang's gain momentum and the edge, and ultimately defeat the Cobra Kai's. Miguel, Demetri, and Hawk all head to the attached dojo to find Sam and Tory.
The girls are interrupted by a bloodied Miguel, Hawk, who has now joined the side of Eagle Fang Karate, and Demetri. Hawk warns Tory that the fight is over. Tory tells Sam their fight will never be over, with Sam responding that she knows where to find her. Tory then calls Hawk and Miguel traitors. She warns Hawk to watch his back and turns to leave. Before she goes, Demetri tells her that Hawk has friends who will watch his back for him.[2]
Aftermath
The Repairs
The fight between the dojos left huge damage in the LaRusso house, with many broken windows and destroyed furniture. This all prompted Daniel to add a coded alarm system in order to make his family feel safe in their house again.

Daniel and Johnny individually learn of the incident and confront Kreese in the process. Johnny then fights Kreese after he tells him to re-join Cobra Kai. After getting distracted with Robby, he then fights him but is knocked out. Johnny tends to him but Kreese takes advantage of this and puts him in a chokehold. Daniel then kicks him off and fights him in the process, applying the pressure point technique he learned while he was in Japan. Kreese offered the two senseis a deal: their students will compete in the next All Valley Karate Tournament and whoever dojo loses will be forced to close. Johnny and Daniel agreed to Kreese's terms before retreating in the aftermath of the fight.
New Alliances
The fight allowed for the defection of Hawk from Cobra Kai Dojo. He not only rekindled his friendship with Demetri Alexopoulos, but also joined Eagle Fang. Sam and Miguel's initial idea to unite the two dojos came to fruition, with Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do teaming up to train for the All Valley Karate Tournament. Daniel and Johnny decided to put aside their differences to fight the threat that Cobra Kai represented to the Valley. Meanwhile, John Kreese, recalling his experiences in Vietnam, decides to call in a familiar face.
