Biography[]
Joanne met a man whose surname was Steiner and they married. They had a daughter named Amanda, though Mr. Steiner had an estranged relationship with his daughter. When Amanda was in high school, she caught her father having an affair with her math tutor, and took a bat to the car while the tutor was inside. Amanda was arrested and missed her graduation. Joanne divorced her husband soon after.

Amanda becomes frustrated over Daniel’s constant obsession to take down Terry Silver, and decides to leave the valley to stay with her mother in Ohio. She takes Anthony and Sam with her. Once they arrive, Joanne plays with her daughter when Amanda’s cousin Jessica Andrews arrives to take Amanda, Sam, Anthony out for the evening. Amanda asks her mom if she wants to come along, but Joanne is sure she didn’t as she believes that Amanda and Jessica should catch up.
