The LaRusso House is the home of Daniel LaRusso and his family. It is located in Encino Hills, San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, California.

Biography[]

Season 1[]

In the beginning of the episode Strike First, the house is shown to have a large dining area and kitchen with a brick oven and high class coffee maker. Daniel is shown getting up from bed and putting on his suit to prepare for work. He then prepares breakfast for his two children before heading off to work. The house also has a pool where Samantha threw a party at the suggestion of Yasmine, with Moon, Kyler and a number of other friends without her parent's knowledge. However, they are all evicted by Daniel when he finds out about it. A pool house on the property also houses a small dojo where Daniel and a younger Samantha once practiced Miyagi-Do karate although it was being used as a storage area at the beginning of the series.

In Counterbalance, Daniel cleaned out and restored the dojo portion after visiting Mr. Miyagi's grave when seeking balance in his life again when he realized the harm he was doing to get rid of Johnny's Cobra Kai dojo.

Robby Keene later joins Daniel in training after seeing him practice in the dojo portion. It is also here that Daniel discovers Robby is Johnny's son and, suspecting a joint plot with his high school rival, demands he leave.

Season 2[]

After the events at the 50th All Valley tournament and upon discovering Shannon Keene had effectively abandoned her son, Daniel offers Robby a place to stay into the dojo portion while the LaRussos attempt to find a long term solution for him.

Season 3[]

The LaRusso house was the setting of a key confrontation in season 3. During Feel the Night, Samantha holds a Christmas get-together here that was meant to bring Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang together against Cobra Kai. In the season finale December 19, Samantha, Miguel, and eventually Demetri attempt to reconcile the differences between their fellow students.

The Cobras learn of the meeting and, on Kreese's orders, attack the students at the LaRusso house. The fight is dominated by Cobra Kai until Hawk, seeing his former friends being beaten, defects and teams up with Demetri to turn the tide of the fight. Samantha and Tory's one on one fight moves to the dojo area where Sam wins before Miguel, Hawk, and Demetri inform both that they have finished the fight at the house.

Daniel, after seeing the aftermath at his home, goes to the Cobra Kai dojo to confront Kreese.

Season 4[]

During Let's Begin, the LaRusso house was equipped with a security system following the December 19th fight to the added stress of the LaRusso family. The window that Bert was thrown through was also still being repaired. The LaRusso, Diaz family, and Johnny takes pictures with Miguel and Sam before they head to the junior prom.

Season 5[]

Chozen has moved in to the LaRusso House during his stay in Los Angeles while he helps Daniel defeat Terry Silver.

Season 6[]
