Lia Cabrera is a supporting character in Season 4 of the Netflix series Cobra Kai.
Lia is a student at West Valley Middle School. She is the classmate and also the love interest of both Anthony LaRusso and Kenny Payne. Lia's interest in Kenny sparks a rivalry between the two.

Lia is playing a basketball game during P.E.. Her basketball skills and good looks have gained her the attention of Anthony LaRusso. Later, she intervenes during a heated moment between Anthony and new student Kenny Payne. She diffuses Kenny and Anthony's conflict by telling Anthony to give him a break. He listens to her but witnesses her become friendlier towards Kenny in the process. She also comments on Kenny's Dungeon Lord shirt, which gets Kenny excited but is also noticed by Anthony.
Lia is unaware that Anthony and his gang have created a Lia-themed Dungeon Lord account that they are using to catfish Kenny into thinking it is her. Anthony and his friends would use this Lia account to lure Kenny into an attack.
While on a field trip to West Valley High School for a middle school orientation, she is talking to Kenny and notices a stain on his shirt. She reminds him about it and Kenny goes to clean it up.
Later, Lia is then talking to Anthony where he tells her how they've known each other since elementary school, but have haven't hung out since then. Later, Lia invites Anthony to go to the carnival, but Anthony is soured when Lia says she invited Kenny to go along with them.
Personality
In all of her appearances, Lia seems to be a very sweet and genuine girl, and is well liked by all that meet her. She seemed to be unaware of any of the bullying that was being done to Kenny. She made many playful comments towards Kenny that were goodhearted.

- Lia's role in the season is a direct parallel to the relationship between Ali Mills, Daniel LaRusso, and Johnny Lawrence in the original film. She could also be similar to Meiying, Dre Parker's love interest in the 2010 remake.
- She doesn't appear in Season 5 for unknown reasons.
- But since Season 4 took place when the characters were still in school and Season 5 takes place during the summer, as indirectly mentioned by Yasmine in Downward Spiral, it could be possible that she would only appear during the school year, as she probably went on vacation during the entirety of Season 5. Or considering that Season 5 was of Cobra Kai vs. Miyagi Fang, there was no good reason for her to appear as she is not apart of neither dojo nor is not affiliated with the dojos students.
- She could potentially appear in the final season since Anthony and Kenny will be starting high school.
