The Locust Valley Karate Club was a Karate Dojo based in California. They competed in the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament throughout the 1980s.
Pre Karate Kid
Exactly when the LVKC was founded is never known as it is a minor dojo in the Karate Kid Series. In the 1984 All Valley tournament, Darryl Vidal, their top student, lost in the quarter finals to Tommy of Cobra Kai. It is unknown if there was another student to make it further than Vidal.
The Karate Kid
Various other students are seen along with Vidal who returned to the tournament. The furthest to make it is Vidal, who loses to Johnny Lawrence in the semi finals.
The Karate Kid Part II
The dojo's students can be seen in the background during the opening recap of the first film.
The Karate Kid Part III
The LVKC returned to compete in the 1985 All Valley Tournament. It can be assumed that Vidal did not return due to turning 18. The only named member is a student named Orshan who lost in the semi finals to Mike Barnes. Their fight, however, was never shown on screen and only seen through the name cards in the back of the arena.
Post Karate Kid Part III
It is unknown if Locust Valley disbanded sometime after the 1985 tournament as they have not appeared in the webseries Cobra Kai.
