Molé is the second episode of the fifth season of Cobra Kai.
Synopsis
Chozen and Daniel hatch a risky plot against Terry. In Mexico, Robby and Johnny look for Miguel, who discovers the truth about his dad.
Plot
In a flashback to Okinawa, a young Chozen is chopping sand during a lesson taught by his uncle Sato. When he appears, he learns that he is punching a bag and gets mad for using it, saying it his cowardly. He tells him that a man without honor is not a man. The students then continue chopping the sand.
Back to the present day, Terry tells his students about how Kreese isn't Cobra Kai. He says that their championship is their path to new heights. Silver then introduces them to the different senseis when Tory walks in. Chozen tells her that since Tory is a champion, she will not go easy on him.
In Mexico, a man tells Johnny that he needs to move his van. When he refuses, he tells the tow truck driver to tow away the van. Miguel wakes up and chops bell peppers for Hector. Hector is surprised that he is an All-Valley champion. He invites him to go to an MMA fighting ring at night.
Back in Cobra Kai, Chozen is training Tory and explains that the reason he wanted to be a sensei is because he wanted to regain honor. He tells Tory that he can take honor from herself. When Terry checks up on them, Chozen conceals his identity and tells him that he is training Tory's mind and body. He adds that she needs to face troubles if she wants to get out of them. Terry is surprised that Chozen knows Tang Soo Do and asks where Chozen is from. He tells him he's from Kyoto and tells him of a shrine.
At a mall, Johnny and Robby notice a pepper eating contest. Robby participates in order to get them money. Later, Miguel calls his mother and chastises her for lying to him about Hector. He tells her that Hector is a good man and that he missed out on everything because of her. Robby then incorporates his Miyagi-Do lessons in order to eat the pepper. When he eats it, he starts to handle the heat. The man then eats but spits his milk on Robby.
Terry invites Chozen over to his mansion to get to know him more. Tory confronts Silver to talk about how he cheated the referee back at the tournament. Silver tells her that it was an insurance policy to help Tory win the tournament. She gets upset that she has to get away with it but Terry counters that he knows what to do in order to win and that the tournament was the path for Cobra Kai's survival. Silver gives Tory two decisions: leave or come back.
Robby drinks a bottle of milk to drown out the heat. He shows Johnny the bag of candy and Johnny tells Robby that what he did is badass. Carmen calls Johnny and tells him that Miguel is going with Hector to an MMA event.
Back at the LaRusso house, Chozen is trying different blazers for his dinner with Terry. Daniel is impressed with how Chozen connected with Terry and now he can dig deep into his plan. Daniel tells him that Terry is a man without honor. He adds that he has to blend in and has to get ready to be manipulated and if he finds out about him, he needs to be ready to fight. Chozen praises Silver about how the Cobra Kai students are well-trained. He talks about his fight with Daniel and explains how rivalries can die down.
Later, Johnny and Robby show up. Mistaken as actual agents, a man calls Hector saying that the FBI is there. Hector gets mad when he learns that Miguel is from America. He checks is phone but is calmed down when he comes clean and apologizes for getting mad. A fighter stops Johnny from going to Miguel but Johnny fights him. At first he gets overpowered but wins after he blinds the fighter with a pepper.
At Silver's house, Terry shows Chozen his weapons. He tells him that he wants to expand Cobra Kai all over the world and that it will help his students become stronger. He adds that his plan will also make Cobra Kai a big name. Chozen accepts the offer and he and Silver toast.
Hector then tells the story about his success in Ecuador and how it made him who he is. He even said that he was arranged to marry Carmen and how Rosa didn't like her. Hector ends by saying he regrets nothing and Miguel leaves the store. Miguel calls his mom and tearfully tells her about how he learned of Hector. Johnny and Robby find him and Miguel and Johnny hug, though is upset when he sees Robby.
Tory returns to Cobra Kai and Terry tells her that he is not having class. Chozen shows up and calls down the previous senseis. He is surprised that Terry discovered who he was. The senseis fight Chozen but he easily defeats them. Chozen then tells Silver not to go near Daniel's family and if he crosses the line, he will beg for mercy.
