Odell is a supporting antagonist in Cobra Kai.

He is one of the highly-skilled sensei's working alongside Terry Silver and Kim Da-Eun. He assists Silver in his plans to expand, Cobra Kai.

Season 5[]

Odell is one of Kim Da-Eun's fellow senseis from Korea who are called on by Terry Silver to help him on his plans to expand the Cobra Kai Dojo nationwide and ultimately, worldwide. He is first shown at an airport along with the other senseis, welcoming her to Terry Silver. He was also present when Silver took over Topanga Karate, holding a box full of gi's for students who are choosing to join Cobra Kai.

When Chozen and Johnny fought Hyan-Woo at the Topanga location, Odell was present alongside Kim Da-Eun and the other senseis, who threatened to fight them when Kim revealed that Cobra Kai had already taken over. Days later, Odell was ordered by Terry Silver to spar with Kyler Park and Kenny Payne, while Kim Da-Eun was ordered to spar with Tory Nichols and Devon Lee. Odell was able to overpower both of them due to Kyler's lack of leadership, but Kenny is able to defeat him by attacking Kyler and letting him be used as a jumping board, giving him advantage to kick Odell in the face, impressing Silver.

Odell was also present when Silver has decided to bring the Cobra Kai Dojo worldwide by qualifying for the Sekai Taikai, which was overseen by a group of organizers led by Gunther Braun. He held a wooden board that Kenny Payne successfully broke with a single punch as part of Silver's demonstration of Cobra Kai's prowess to the Sekai Taikai organizers.

Odell was present when Kim punished Tory Nichols for not showing up for her match against Samantha LaRusso for the Sekai Taikai Tournament by forcing her to break a plate of solid stone. It was only after the sixth punch that she was capable of rendering it to several pieces but the act almost broke her hand. Silver, Kim, Odell, Bacaria and Hyan-Woo look at Tory with no sympathy and walk out of the dojo, leaving her clutching her bleeding hand.

At Silver's mansion, he aids the other senseis to fight Johnny Lawrence, even beating him up easily. But after regaining his strength, Johnny is able to beat him by kicking him in the groin and pushing him aside to a nearby door, and dodges Min-Jun's attacks who accidentally cuts off Odell's pinkie. Odell was later knocked unconscious by Johnny after he is able to throw Min-Jun into the ground.
