"Rattled" is the twelfth episode of the sixth season of Cobra Kai.
Synopsis[]
Sam and Robby turn to their friends for support as they train for the challenges ahead. Johnny and Carmen welcome a new addition to the team.
Plot[]
At the All-Valley meeting, Gunther Braun tells the committee that he wants to resume the Sekai Taikai in the All-Valley arena. The committee begins to argue so Gunther comes up with more efficient plans, but when Daryl gets frustrated at Gunther for saying that he will be the master of ceremonies and raise the microphone, the latter suggests they handle this issue the old way, which is by fighting. Gunther wins the fight and asks if there are any other objections and when the rest of the committee don't have any, he leaves.
Daniel and Amanda visit the Miyagi-Do dojo where Chozen is doing gardening. A mailman gives him a letter from Kumiko and that she tells him that she hasn't received his message due to her having problems with her phone company. He reads out to Daniel and Amanda that she is in love with another person and that she loves Chozen as a friend. The couple tries to assure him but it falls on deaf ears. Daniel tells Amanda what Chozen will do as he has witnessed what the latter did when he was dealing with his heartbreak back in Barcelona. Amanda suggests they set Chozen up with Winnie Taylor, who is a friend of theirs and bring the two to a wine tasting with them but Daniel doesn't think it's a good idea. However, when they see Chozen getting frustrated with someone on Storage Wars, he suggests for Amanda to call Winnie.
At the Diaz apartment, Carmen and Rosa are packing for the hospital where she tells Johnny different options for their child's name. Rosa tells Johnny that he needs to make things right with God in order for him to be a better father.
Demetri and Eli arrive at Miyagi-Do to help Robby with his match with Axel where Demetri asks Eli if he heard anything from MIT and Eli tells him that he won't be going, but he also tells Demetri that he got into Caltech. Miguel and Robby arrive where they see some computer equipment and ask what it is, and Demetri that it is what will help Miyagi-Do win the Sekai Taikai.
Meanwhile, Sam is at Tory's apartment and even though they're fighting each other in the semi-finals, Sam tells her that since she is fighting her, she wants to train with her but Tory reveals that she quit the dojo and will not continue competing in the tournament. Sam mentions that since Tory is backing out, she automatically advances to the finals where she will fight Zara, which annoys Tory. Sam tries to persuade her to help her train and makes a joke that this could be the last time where Tory would kick her in the face.
At the wine tasting, Amanda tells Chozen that he will like Winnie. She arrives and asks Chozen if he knew his name is obtained from two words meaning "honesty" and "integrity" in which he tells her he had no idea. She tries to convince Chozen to try a Rekai treatment, which is a Japanese spiritual practice but Chozen counters that in Okinawa, they say Rekai is inaccurate. Winnie shares her sentiment with Amanda and Daniel about Sam and Moon moving away for college. While talking, Chozen says that the healing crystals are not true, much to Amanda's shock.
Johnny meets with his old friend Bobby to talk about having a baby with Carmen despite not being married. He tells him that he thinks God will have a problem with him and Carmen not being married when they are gonna have a baby. He tells him that he was gonna propose to her a few months ago, but he was attacked by five people and Chozen had to get 70 stiches, and he also tells him that he tried to propose to her after the Sekai Taikai, but that didn't happen due to Kwon's death. Bobby tells Johnny that life is not perfect and he needs to take the leap and propose to Carmen.
The binary brothers prepare Robby for his training and they tell him that their AI program is called Fully Integrated Generative Haptic Technology (abbreviated as FIGHT) and Eli gives Robby a headset where he can envision Miguel as Axel. Demetri and Eli uploaded data from all of Axel's fights where a predictive algorithm was created that could be provided in Miguel's headphones. Miguel and Robby begin training, however, Robby is knocked down.
Sam and Tory arrive at the All-Valley arena where they get ready to train with each other and the latter mentions that things were different the last time they were there and the former counters that they hated each other at the time.
Daniel and Amanda vent about Sam leaving them for her new school and she becomes overwhelmed with Sam moving across the world with her telling Daniel that she will not speak to her again due to their time zones being different. Winnie and Chozen are talking where she introduces him to tarot cards. Winnie admits to him that she is also a big fan of Storage Wars and does a tarot reading.
Johnny does a training montage to help him get ready to propose to Carmen. Miguel and Robby's training goes on where Demetri and Eli's training tech is acting weird. The odds of Robby defeating Axel have decreased and Robby stops training. Sam and Tory train where The Bonsai Badass tells her former rival to re-enter but she tells him that her time in Cobra Kai always ends up with her getting involved in Kreese's tactics and damaging her relationships with her friends and Robby.
At the Diaz apartment, Johnny is ready to propose but Rosa walks in. The latter apologizes to Johnny for putting too much pressure on him and tells him that Carmen and the baby are lucky to have Johnny. They both learn that Carmen is ready to give birth and leave to go to the hospital. At the wine tasting, Chozen is going on with his tarot reading and the first card is called Reverse Hermit where Winnie tells him that his path is challenged by life-or-death danger that is related by him. The next card is called Death and she tells him that some people he knows will die soon. The third card is called The Empress and Winnie informs Chozen that the journey he's currently on will soon come to an end, and he will find someone who has the same strength and resolve as him. He tells her about Kim Da-Eun but can't pursue her due to her being in Korea. Winnie tells him that the journey he takes, anything is possible.
Miguel and Robby talk where El Serpiente assures him that no matter what the numbers say on the AI program, he can beat Axel. Robby counters that despite him giving it everything he got during him and Axel's previous fight, it didn't make a difference. Miguel tells Robby that the latter didn't give up during their first All-Valley fight because he knew how much work he put in. When Miguel starts to talk like Johnny, Robby becomes shocked and the two resume training.
Sam apologizes to Tory for not understanding her situation. Tory admits that returning to Cobra Kai was the only option she had that could help her get over her mom's death but it just ruined her relationships. Sam also admits she is not going to UCLA but she is going to study abroad in Okinawa and is reluctant to tell Miguel. Tory tells her she and Miguel will figure it out, and Sam tells Tory that she will not lose her friends or Robby just because she went back to Cobra Kai.
Daniel and Amanda look at a picture of him and Sam after her first karate lesson. They learn that Carmen gave birth but because they can't drive, they need to Uber.
Robby is successful with his training and his odds are going up. Hawk and Demetri make plans to visit each other and Miguel at their respective colleges during the winter, spring, and summer.
At the hospital, Johnny arrives and checks on Carmen and he proposes to her and she accepts. Bobby comes in to officiate Johnny and Carmen's wedding. Daniel mentions to Amanda when she told him their Iives will change forever before the night Sam was born. He tells her even though their lives were changed drastically, he wouldn't change it for anything.
After getting married, the baby is born and Carmen tells everyone she is named after Johnny's mother, Laura.

- Kenny was only shown in the beginning while he helps his teammates train Robby for his continued semifinal match against Axel.
- Winnie tells Chozen that people who are involved in his life will die very soon — this foreshadows Kreese and Silver's deaths that take place two episodes from this one.
- Furthermore, Winnie also tells him that he will find someone who matches his strength and resolve will be waiting for him which foreshadows him going to Korea to see Kim in Ex-Degenerate.
- Curiously, Chozen’s interpretation of the Death card as portending change is actually the correct reading of it in real life Tarot, while Winnie’s reading of it as an omen of literal death is inaccurate to its real life meaning in Tarot, despite Chozen not believing in it and Winnie being a proponent of it.
- Despite being featured in the end credits, Axel doesn't physically appear in this episode since his likeness is used when Hawk and Demetri used their AI training simulation to envision Miguel as Axel.
- Carmen giving birth in the hospital after she and Johnny get married in there is exactly what happened in the series finale of The Nanny. The only difference is that Fran gave birth to twins while Carmen only gave birth to a baby girl.
