Season 5[]

Suk-Chin is one of the elite senseis' recruited by Kim Da-Eun to support Terry Silver’s ambitious expansion of Cobra Kai across the valley and eventually the world. He is first introduced waiting at the airport with the other sensei, ready to greet Kim Da-Eun as she exits her plane. This marks the start of their joint efforts to transform Cobra Kai into a global phenomenon under Silver's leadership.

He is next seen at the Topanga Karate dojo during the moment Terry Silver asserts control. Suk-Chin stands alongside Kim Da-Eun and the other sensei, silently observing as Silver takes over the dojo. His presence emphasizes the growing power and influence of Cobra Kai, as well as his dedication to their cause.

Later, Suk-Chin appears with his team when Johnny Lawrence and Chozen Toguchi infiltrate Cobra Kai’s dojo. After the intense fight between Johnny, Chozen, and Hyan-Woo, Suk-Chin and the other sensei surround them under Kim Da-Eun’s orders, adding to the tension. Though a fight doesn’t break out at this moment, Suk-Chin’s intimidating demeanor and readiness for combat underline his role as an enforcer.

Suk-Chin plays a significant role during the showdown at Terry Silver’s mansion when Chozen, Mike Barnes, and Johnny arrive to confront Silver. Alongside four other sensei, Suk-Chin fights against Johnny and Chozen in a brutal battle. Despite being outnumbered, Chozen and Johnny initially hold their own, but the combined strength and coordination of Suk-Chin and his team eventually give them the upper hand. Suk-Chin demonstrates his raw power when he picks Johnny up, turns him around, and slams him to the ground with brutal force. Holding Johnny by his leather jacket, he restrains him while waiting for Silver’s orders.

When Silver commands the sensei to "finish him," Suk-Chin resumes the attack on Johnny, landing punishing blows. However, Johnny’s resilience and ingenuity allow him to turn the tide. During the chaotic melee, Johnny uses a glass pitcher to strike Suk-Chin’s head, taking him out of the fight. Suk-Chin is incapacitated and doesn’t continue fighting after this point.

Suk-Chin is a martial artist who relies on strength and aggression in combat. His style is direct and powerful, favoring takedowns and heavy strikes to dominate his opponents. Despite his skill and intimidation factor, his reliance on brute force makes him vulnerable to resourceful fighters like Johnny, who use the environment to their advantage. Suk-Chin’s role is crucial in showcasing the physical threat posed by Kim Da-Eun’s sensei and the high stakes of Cobra Kai’s expansion under Terry Silver.
