Firstly, Wolf spins once and then drop his leg down. Then he spins one more time and then finishes with a devastating kick that can cause massive damage to his opponent

During a cage match in Bangkok, Sensei Wolf uses the Shaolin Sunset to finish his opponent, leaving him seizing on the ground in great pain and blood coming out of his mouth. Impressed, Terry Silver asks about it and Wolf tells him that the move isn't banned here, and he had only used three-quarters speed on the man.
During the final round of their fight at the Sekai Taikai, Wolf tries to use the Shaolin Sunset to defeat Johnny Lawrence. However, remembering his defeat to Daniel LaRusso in 1984, Johnny switches to a defensive stance and allows Wolf to strike first. When Wolf gets close, Johnny drops and sweeps Wolf's leg, successfully countering the Shaolin Sunset and ultimately allowing Johnny to win the fight.
