Zack
Zack Thompson is a supporting antagonist in Season 4 of the Netflix series Cobra Kai.
He is a student at West Valley Middle School where he is friends with Anthony LaRusso. He and his group bully new student Kenny Payne.

He probably was born in 2005. Not much is known about him prior to the 4th season of Cobra Kai.

Season 4[]
Zack is friends with Anthony LaRusso, Marcus, and Slade. He is on the school bus when he mocks new student Kenny's dancing. During P.E., both Zack and Anthony are put into the scrimmage game by the gym teacher. Kenny gets revenge by embarrassing them when he reveals that he is skilled in basketball. After Kenny hits Anthony with a basketball, Zack tells him to use karate but Anthony refuses. This prompts Zack to slur Anthony as "LaPusso".
Later that night, Kenny is playing Dungeon Lord. Anthony creates an account using Lia's name in order to catfish him. Zack seems suspicious of Anthony when he reveals how knowledgeable he is on Dungeon Lord, but does not follow it up. When Anthony and his allies ambush Kenny, Zack is amongst the more aggressive ones, both physically and verbally, and mocks Anthony as "LaPusso" again when he balks for not attacking Kenny. Kenny would get away with Zack and his friends all in hot pursuit, but Kenny is able to escape.
Back at school, Zack mocks LaRusso's girl skills when they all observe Anthony try to score points with Lia, but she ends up with Kenny talking in the library in a very friendly way. Later, when Lia says she invited Kenny to the fair, Zack and his friends insult Anthony. When Anthony tries to make peace with him, Kenny doesn't forgive him and calls him "LaPusso". He calls him the name again and Zack and the others chase him. They end up in the library but are attacked one-by-one by Kenny, who takes out all of Anthony's friends and leaves Anthony for himself. In the end, Zack is suspended alongside Anthony for bullying Kenny.
Season 5[]
Zack does not appear in Season 5, but is indirectly mentioned by Kenny as one of Anthony's "weak ass friends".
Season 6[]
Zack does not make a physical appearance in Season 6, but he is seen commenting in a ''Shitbutt'' meme about Kenny's incident at Miyagi-Do making fun of him under the username ''Zack_attack445''.
Personality[]
Zack has been very obnoxious in his appearances, mocking anyone for just about anything. He is the more assertive about going after Kenny in several of their attacks on Kenny. He is also quick to mock others for their failures, even his own friends. This includes him calling Anthony "LaPusso" whenever he has the opportunity to do so.

Anthony and Zack were friends ever since they started hanging out. Both of them meet Kenny and make fun of his dancing. In P.E., Zack tells Anthony to use karate on Kenny after he hit him in the face with a basketball. Anthony refuses and Zack calls him "LaPusso". When Anthony shares his knowledge on Dungeon Lord, Zack gets curious, but Anthony lies. When Kenny is at the park with the group, Zack and the others tell Anthony to beat him up, but Anthony still refuses, causing Zack to be called "LaPusso" again. He makes fun of Anthony's girl skills when Anthony is speaking to Lia in a friendly way but Lia ends up speaking to Kenny in a more friendly way later. After the school fight, Zack is suspended alongside Anthony for bullying Kenny.

Kenny has been bullied by Zack and his friends. They meet on the bus where he and Anthony make fun of his dancing. He would also help attack him after his group lures him to a park in a Dungeon Lord cosplay but Kenny escapes. He and the others chase him to the library but are attacked by Kenny. Later, Zack is suspended from school after constantly bullying Kenny.

- Zack is similar to Dutch from the original Karate Kid, Liang from the remake Karate Kid, and Brucks.
- Both are the right-hand men in their friend group. In this case, Zack is the right-hand man to Anthony while Dutch is the right-hand man to Johnny, Liang is the right-hand man to Cheng, and Brucks is the right-hand man to Kyler.
- He doesn't return in Season 5 for unknown reasons, despite the reported actor's interest in returning.
