Wang Zhenwei (Born October 20, 1995) is a Chinese actor. He plays Cheng in the 2010 film The Karate Kid.
Biography[]
Wang was born in Hebei, China. He started attending a sports school when he was 4. He is trained in Wushu and had even won medals for it. The Karate Kid was his first acting job where he passed the strict requirements of English and Mandarin fluency, skills in Wushu, physical appearance, facial expressions, and even eye expressions which he was tested on. He is good friends with Jaden Smith who plays Dre Parker and even taught him some Mandarin Chinese. His most notable acting work outside of The Karate Kid was Martial Arts vs. Reality in 2012. He also is part of Jackie Chan's stunt team as a stunt actor for his stunt company.
