Qin Zhuangzhuang (秦壮壮), better known as Zhuang, is a minor character and quaternary antagonist in the 2010 film The Karate Kid.
Biography[]
Zhuang was friends with Cheng and Liang. His first appearance is when he is cheering on Cheng when he is fighting with Dre in the Playground. He continues to bully Dre in the school. He is one of the people who chases down Dre after he pours dirty water on them. Then, when Mr. Han and Dre go to the Fighting Dragons Studio he is having a brawl with Liang which Liang dominates throughout the beginning by knocking him down several times, until he smacks Liang’s arm, trips him, traps him to the floor and as he is about to punch and finish Liang he stops. Master Li calls Zhuang and asks him why he showed mercy, which leads to Master Li brutally slapping Zhuang. Master Li goes over how you should show no mercy when fighting. He is next seen in the tournament in a quarter-final fight against Dre. In an attempt to intimidate Dre, Zhuang performs a showcase of skills before the fight. The fight is well balanced and is edged to Zhuang at the beginning until Dre gets the upper hand and beats Zhuang. Zhuang is last seen when Mr. Han has a big brawl with Master Li, showing respect to Mr. Han and Dre.
Fighting Style[]
Due to his superior agility speed and reflxes he has a good, accurate fighting skill and heavy punches that he used to hurt Dre.
Trivia[]
Zhuang's equivalent is Tommy due to how they are both seen hanging out with the Antagonist.
